Commute and getting around
Most residents drive, and many commute to Calgary on the QEII. Check the drive at rush hour, not just the distance. The City of Airdrie runs local transit and an express commuter service to downtown Calgary (routes 901 and 902). Check current routes, times and fares on the City of Airdrie website before you rely on them.

What to know before you sign
- Work out your commute time at rush hour.
- Check whether the area is still under construction: noise, dust and unfinished roads or parks.
- Ask about included appliances, garage access, and who maintains the yard and clears snow.
- If you'll rely on commuter transit, check where the stops are and how you would get to them.
- Do the written move-in inspection with the landlord.
